well, it makes a difference in ET what kind of rig you have. And I was also tired of all that "tough guy" posturing.

new years resolution is running TF2 and ET:ETPRO + ET:ETPUB on a server here at home..

ET aint dead, TF2 aint dead.. and both will be up. We/I got teh bandwidth for it and I got all teh settings (somewhere) to set it up.. it is all more a matter of getting this server done (which should be done 6 months ago) and then just boot it up.

Anywho... ssssstttt... it's a surprise!

I am not pissed off, Captain. But it does make a difference in ET what rig and what connection you have. Trust me, there were times when I had 5 fps on ET. even with my decent rig, there were maps where my fps fluctuated wildly. Now if you have a powerful rig, kickass card and a good connection, that does not happen to you. And it gives you advantage.
Anyway, I know, at my age, what testosterone is. I just don't need to engage in chest beating contests with pimply-faced teenagers. t's all. Don't get me wrong, I love ET, and I miss fun times we all had. Hopefully, Freaky will resurrect that.
So, my favorite superhero, have a merry Christmas and all that.... and maybe we will frag each other again

but if hes running it in holland or netherland or where ever he lives my ping will be to high for me...
