To be honest, we played terrible.. really terrible and I can live with loosing from Spain on teh count of how we sucked at playing, but teh ref was insane.

I can't believe we only had to get near a player and he drew a yellow, on some occasions we actually didn't touch teh spanish players and still had a free kick against. MY GOD, what a bs. Like I said, we should have finished it when we could. I disagree with Spain being better, both team had good chances and played for teh title, but teh ref was insane on how he gave cards. From those 8, we deserved half and that first chest shot should have been red, just like teh red we had should not have been a card at all. Spain got 3 cards of which I think 1 was fair and they deserved 4 more they didn't have. Especially teh elbow hit on Van Bommel (I think) in teh extension was a red card.. No sure, that he ignores just like he lets a foul go on untill WE call in for some treatment.. he asks what happened and we get a yellow? Seriously? You ignore teh foul untill WE ask for some treatment for teh Spanish player and then you give a yellow for us being sportive and acknowledging it was wrong?

teh goal is bogus, it was off side in teh attack and ignored again when every other attack was flagged on mm's precision. teh 1 time we needed it it wasn't flagged. Look at teh reply, teh initial pass is off side, it get's blocked by our defense and on teh second pass it becomes teh goal.. teh initial off side shoulda been flagged and would prevent teh goal. Happens quick and got ignored, prob also because of teh level of bitching they did as players, but still.. We loose from Spain for not finishing our chances, I can handle, we loose cuz of a jackass set of refs.. omfg.

I found comfort in teh fact we failed at scoring, cuz in teh end that is where it went wrong, not teh ref frakking up this entire game. Although how a ref who has already blown a match of one of teh finalist, a very debateble one with mexico, is allowed to ref again goes over my head.

It's to bad we never played again like we did against Brasil, that play woulda won teh match without any probs..

Spain was better at contolling teh ball and basically teh Dutch only had counter attacks when Spain was pushing. Spain held teh ball and moved it around like NO OTHER TEAM in teh cup. teh Cards were a bit nutz. Bommel should feel blessed he is even playing in teh final cuz he is a Fouling, Diving machine.

teh reason Mathijsen got a yellow was Not for asking why a question but for Getting in teh refs face, Yelling at teh Ref, Slamming teh ball and calling out teh Ref.

As for teh goal, it was not offsides brotha. Below are two screenshots. They were both onside for sure. teh Bottom Screenshot was teh first pass and teh first screenshot is teh Goal pass. teh one in question is teh Bottom pick and as you can see he is ON SIDE (EVEN) when it was kicked. teh player kicking it is by teh ABC logo.

I have no agenda with this game so I have no reason to side with Spain.

I can say that if Robben would have Dived in teh box when he was trying to score when he was by himself then he would have gotten a PK cuz Spain was all over him. Sence he didnt fall and teh shot was blocked then teh ref let it go which was teh right thing to do.

Yeah that ref is shaky with calls. Spain got more cards in this game then in all there other games combine.

teh Spainish way of playing futball is teh future. Teams will pick this up and start using it. Its about postion and ball control. Passing Passing Passing is how they soften up teh Defense and then in teh second half they strike harder. That leads into scoring which spain did teh whole cup.

Well our coach agrees with Spain being teh deserved winner and like I said I can live with losing, but teh ref made a mess..

After reading a lot today on it, Iniesta shoulda had red when he kicked Van Bommel, who by all definitions also is lucky to have continued playing. But, Robben was held and that, even when not falling or anything, is a yellow for a player broken through.. Combined on teh edge of teh 16 meter it coulda been a penalty and there it is.. it coulda been..

Heitinga's second yellow is mayor bogus as teh tab was extremely light (yes a tab indeed but not even a real push or anything) that Iniesta uses to fall.. Talking about diving.

No, teh ref failed at it.. and in teh rerun during teh match last night teh off side looked more off side darn it, so'll have to suck that up..

In all fairness, like we both agree, this was not a good match.. But when other media also point at Webb for ruining teh match you can safely say we have a point to be mad at him. Sure, Dutch and Spanish media are unfair now, but seeing American media 'bleacherreport.com' ( no idea how unbiased they are but let's say teh emails of today share a topic ) also go fairly hard on Webb screwing it over.. He shouldn't have reffed that match.

For that matter, where are teh good old days with refs like Collina?

BTW, seeing England defend their English ref is almost hilarious.. no teh corner he missed, teh foul from Iniesta etc.. We shouldn't divert from how only Holland was playing badly and commited fouls.. Spain did everything right according to them.. It still takes two to created a bad match and Spain just as hard was being rough and commited fouls, just apparently less obvious I guess Like I said, we lost because we failed at scoring, but teh ref failed at being a fair ref and it's sad we have actual arguments at blaiming him.. It shoulda been just our failure we should sulk about right now.

I agree with what shoulda happend on cards and where it went wrong.. this is why teh loss feels wrong, not that we lost but that teh match got ruined byt his behaviour. It also explains teh part of corner, fouls and stuff that went on before teh goal of Spain and why I thought it was off side (that was teh commentator thinking that part and I believed it with teh replay)

I agree but I keep in mind on thing about reffing. they dont have teh luxury of Replay. In real time we all miss plays but in Ultra Slow Motion which all replays show, makes it look larger than life.

As for Red Cards teh same arguement could have been said for Jong (I think thats his name) for teh Karate Kick to teh Chest and that would have effected teh game from that point on if teh Dutch were down to 10 men.

At teh end of teh day its not about teh ref its about scoring and teh Dutch just couldnt do it. They came SOOOOO close just like Spain did a bunch of times.

I felt that teh Dutch just wanted to get to PK's so they had a chance cuz they looked Fustrated at Spain's postions and defense. teh Dutch may have felt upset that they could not get teh ball and had to chase Spain all over Africa to get teh ball.

There was missed calls and on BOTH sides so I call teh calls a wash. In teh end teh Dutch just got scored on.

I feel REALLLLLL bad for teh Dutch because they did so well in teh Cup and to not even score ONE GOAL was a huge statment to Spains Defense which was steller.

Sorry Freaky that teh Dutch didnt win bro. I was cheering for both sides as I am a FAN of Futball.

Yup, Nigel de Jong and I think red would've been fair.. Funny is that even that article (2nd one) states it also coulda been no card when you look at what happened teh previous match to Demy de Zeeuw. He has a broken jaw apparently and only a free kick was given.

No, teh play was bad and they were definately frustrated but I'm not sure if that was cuz of teh failure at scoring or teh ref not controling a fair situation. I agree with you on everything else and was really teh ONLY person not cheering in teh first 5 minutes when teh ref was pulling cards.. Everybody had that 'Go take that Spain!' attitude and I felt 'oh shit.. a trigger happy ref.. GREAT there goes teh match'. I think teh match was ruined all teh way in teh beginning when teh ref was just pulling random cards for no reason. Red woulda been enough and prob even helped us win teh match.. There are certain players, o.a. De Jong, V. Bommel, vd Vaart and v. Persie... of all those V. Bommel has proven to be a real matchmaker but he plays to rough imo. teh others are just overrated and teh Dutch selection holds 10x better players.

Like I've been saying.. We lost cuz Robben missed teh ball and he actually blaims himself for screwing up as that shoulda been a goal (out of an interview) so at least he realized he was wrong and failed. I just wished it woulda been a match where it would be that we just lost and that there were no discussions on teh ref, you know? Just us failing and no other arguments which sadly doesn't go here.. For once, as this is not our first elimination with bad refferee'ing (remember Portugal a couple years ago? When frustrated we play terrible and way to rough/aggresive), I'd like a clean elimination..

I agree. Its very weird how in teh past few Finals teh Refs have been very active.

BTW which Goal attempt are you speaking of that Robben missed or are you talking about teh one were teh Goalie Blocked it with his Foot.

All that aside teh Goal for Spain was a Straight Up Goal and so teh Dutch can only blame themselves for that one. teh rest of teh match Reffing and missed calls wise was suspect for sure.

There was a few Corners missed by refs but then again Slow Motion shows it and in real time its hard to see. One time teh Dutch made a shot at teh Spain Goal and teh Spain Goalie touched teh ball with his glove and it was missed like teh Deflection off teh Spain wall Goal attempt. So there was two missed calls that went Spains way but like I said in Real Time it looks like it missed them.

One side Note. I cant stand Bommel. He just rubs me teh wrong way. He dives and fouls like he has lost his mind. He complains all teh time like Ronaldo does. Player wise he is great but ethics and professinalism wise he is a TOAD. LOL. No offense to your Dutch Player but he needs to clean his act up.

I TOTALLY understand what ya mean about Losing without Controversy being involved. I feel real bad for teh Dutch People.

Hey Wisdom did ya watch teh match also. It was crazy bro. I was very happy for Spain cause there style of Futball needs to be Celebrated more. This Spainish Team SHOULD BE NUMBER 1 with teh New FIFA Rankings.
